Lantra’s Quality Assurance Standards

Lantra CourseFinder will be implementing an optional quality assurance scheme for training providers who list their training through the website.

When this takes effect, the following will apply:

Lantra CourseFinder will search for both training providers who are and are not quality assured. Lantra CourseFinder clearly denotes whether a course is delivered by a Quality Assured Training Provider. Lantra quality assures the training provider not the course.

  1. The training provider is subject to the Common Inspection Framework and has achieved a minimum grade 3.
  2. The training provider has been approved by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education Institutional audit.
  3. The Training Provider has met Lantra’s own Quality Assurance standards (a to d) and has demonstrated they are an approved NVQ/SVQ centre by at least one Awarding Body

    2. A working Equal Opportunity Policy & compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995
    3. Compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
    4. Undertaken risk assessment
  4. The Training Provider has met Lantra’s own Quality Assurance standards (see a to d above) and has provided Lantra with two client referees who have confirmed that the training provider has met the following:
